The puppy is fixable!
There has been a lingering fear in the back of my mind since Friday that Sawyer's leg was not going to be salvagable. But, after meeting with the surgeon today, those fears are gone. Update on the broken puppy
Sawyer will be having surgery sometime this week. At least, that is the plan for now. We took him to our vet this morning with the x-rays and file notes from the ER vet and our vet is in agreement that he needs to have surgery ASAP. The nearest surgical center that can do… Read more

The crazy puppy is broken. 🙁
Photo taken with my cell phone. Literally, our puppy is broken. :( Sawyer was playing outside tonight and somehow broke his leg. Specifically, the femoral head in his right leg is broken and will require surgery. Unfortunately, there is no one local who does this type of surgery and we may have to travel somewhere else if… Read more
