I’ve spent much of the past 5 days complaining. "I’m not getting any "me" time." "The kids are misbehaving." "What will they think of me if my kids act like heathens?" "The house isn’t clean enough." "I can’t get everything done." "I’m not "good enough" at scrapbooking." "I’m wasting my time." Whining, complaining, bitching about not being able to do what I want to do.
Enough. Just enough.
I need to enjoy what IS happening right now. Days are going by. My kids are growing, breathing, living, absorbing every minute. And, the scary part – they are taking their cues from me. They are absorbing and learning through me.
So, take my advice. Take some time to evaluate what is going right for you right now. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, not even at dinner time this evening, but RIGHT NOW. And live it. Breathe it. RIGHT NOW. Take a deep breath and listen to yourself and this song. Don’t let days go by before you start living.
